The studio’s goal is to promote Chinese martial art in this part of the world. Our classes aim to help students obtain better health of body and mind.  Our programs orientated mainly on aesthetics of body movements, on the cultivation of internal chi, on the refinement of human virtue of respect, discipline and perseverance. We are not combat and fighting orientated. We are not tournaments, trophy orientated. It is about obtaining good health through this unique martial art. It is about reaching Dao (the ultimate enlightenment) through self–cultivation.

We offer classes for all age groups, men and women. Children classes start from age 4 and up. We also offer lady's only class, private class can be booked too.

What do we teach at BTWC? We teach Taichi in Yang, Chen, Wu style. In Wushu we teach Changquan (Long Fist), Liuhe, Shaolin. Weapons include long and short: Guandao (halibut Knife), Gun (staff), Qiang (spear), Miaodao (katana), Xiaodao (broad Sword), Jian (straight sword), Bishou (dagger), Yuanyang Yue (Deer horn knife) etc. We teach Qigong, and Bagua. For more infomation on Bagua, please click on page: Internal Martial Art

Children are a big part of our studio, therefore we dedicated a web site just  for them:

Check it out if you have children.

Thoughts to Share:

Take not gain or loss to heart.
What man holds high comes to nothing.

Can you be both martial and spiritual?
Can you overcome your ultimate opponent?

To be a good martial artist requires discipline, courage, and perseverance.
An martial artist’s ultimate opponent is one’s own self. Within there, there are a wide array of demons to be conquered: fear, laziness, ignorance, selfishness, egotism, and so many more.
To talk of overpowering of other people is inconsequential. To actually overcome one’s own defects is the true nature of victory. It takes ferocity and determination to overcome the demons within ourselves, only by then you can become a good martial artist.
